Today we decorated our Christmas tree. I was the self-proclaimed president of decoration, and made sure the tree was completely hidden beneath stars, baubles, and in the end whatever I could find. One of those right-sided triangle rulers hangs proudly from the longest branch. Pythagoras would be proud. Later today we watched dinner for one, and wow, that movie (film clip?) gets better every year. I think I’m finally feeling the Christmas spirit.

Didn’t get an angel today either. One more day to go and I’m not getting my hopes up.

Dear blog,

Today I won 50 kroners. No quite 50,000 but close enough. Later today I went to a guitar store to find a present for my brother. Little did I know I would leave the store in love. The guitar I found for him was not only sexy and practical, it was cheap too. It’s one of those snazzy acoustics that can be hooked up to an amp.

I want it.

One more and I’ll win fifty thousand Norwegian Kroners. I might only have 0.000005% chance of winning but all I need is one angel and I’ve got four days on me. I’m never going to win, but if I do I’m gonna buy a nice guitar, perhaps a Gibson. I’ll also consider investing in a decent computer with more than a gig of RAM. This old laptop has seen it’s better days. The only reason it’s still running is because I installed Linux on it. The transition itself was pretty painless. I’m still amazed that this operating system is free.
